Autonomous mobility, Industry 4.0, flexible manufacturing processes: these topics become tangible and tangible with the Mobile Platform in your own premises! The Mobile Platform transports workpieces fully autonomously between two workstations. Its four Mecanum wheels make it enormously maneuverable; in addition to the usual forward/backward and clockwise/anticlockwise rotation, it also moves laterally, i.e. to the right/left.
With the help of the centrally integrated laser scanner (Lidar), the platform locates itself in its environment and autonomously moves to target positions. The conveyor belt mounted on the platform takes workpiece carriers from one workstation and transfers them to a second. For this purpose, the platform docks with an appropriately accessible conveyor belt, and the workpiece is transferred without manual interaction.
The platform is programmed and controlled via Windows software. It allows manual driving by means of buttons and joypad and the execution of autonomous missions. Map creation and programming of missions is done purely graphically. The user is connected to the provided app either from his workstation via RemoteDesktop, or via a tablet.
