Electric vehicle tester/Simulator with load simulation
Single-phase and three-phase test adapter with type-2 plug for testing the effectiveness of protective systems for electricity charging stations. Simulation of electric vehicles being connected and of current capacity for charging accessories as per IEC 61851-1
- Vehicle simulation (CP) – Vehicle states A to E are configured by means of a rotary switch
- Cable simulation (PP) – The various codes for charging cables carrying 13, 20, 32 and 63 A plus a "No cable connected" setting can all be simulated by turning the rotary switch
- Fault simulation – Simulation of a short circuit between CP and PE via rotary switch
- Display of phase voltages by means of LEDs – one phase or three may be active depending on the electricity charging station
- Testing of electricity charging stations with permanently connected cables – carried out with the help of an extended CP test pin
Vehicle simulation (CP):
It is possible to simulate status conditions A, B, C, D and E in accordance with IEC 61851. The various vehicle status settings are selected by means of the rotary switch.
Cable simulation (PP):
The various codes for charging cables carrying 13, 20, 32 and 63 A can all be simulated. It is also possible to simulate a "No cable" setting.
The simulation of the various charging cables is accomplished by switching to various resistors between PP and PE by means of the rotary switch. According to IEC 61851 the following values are possible:
No cable - 0 Ω
13 A cable - 1.5kΩ
20 A cable - 680 Ω
32 A cable - 220 Ω
63 A cable - 100 Ω
