EST 1 Manual switching in three-phase circuits 230 V

Up to a certain power rating, multi-pole consumers can be connected directly in three-phase circuits. Suitable switching devices are available for this purpose and must be employed correctly for the application involved.

 

Training objectivs:

  • Switching a three-phase induction motor with a squirrel cage motor on and off
  • Star-delta connection of a three-phase induction motor with a squirrel-cage rotor
  • Star-delta reversing circuit for a three-phase induction motor with a squirrel-cage rotor
  • Pole reversal with Dahlander three-phase induction motor
  • Pole reversal with a three-phase induction motor with two separate windings
