Work on hybrid and electric vehicles with a deactivated high voltage system (CarTrain)
Aligned to IMI's EV 2.2 and EV 3 qualification / ASE's L3 qualification (USA)

One of the central topics of modern automotive technology are HEVs and EVs. As an innovation of the modern age and the drive of the future, it is undergoing continuous further development. An elementary component of this development is the training and further education of specialists, who must always have their finger on the pulse of the times in order to be optimally prepared for the constantly evolving challenges. With its training systems, Lucas-Nuelle represents an important link between industry and education. Especially in the field of hybrid and electric vehicles, this training system represents a clear enrichment of training and further education, as it forms the perfect synergy between practical relevance, high safety requirements and target group-oriented theory in combination with diagnostic tasks.

The trainee works directly on a real HV system which, however, does not require any prior qualification due to its special protection. This training system thus creates a safe working environment and enables concentrated work. All contents are based on the IMI qualification EV 2.2 and EV 3 as well as the US qualification ASE L3. The trainee learns all important theoretical contents by means of the interactive e-learning curriculum. Each theoretical chapter is accompanied by numerous practical tasks and knowledge questions, so that the necessary diagnostic skills are also created. These are further promoted in particular by the integrated diagnostic system and the specially selected error scenarios. Only this training system offers the possibility for trainees to carry out various diagnostic strategies including measurements on an HV system with real HV voltages under the highest safety requirements.
