European Academy of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology

The European Academy of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology combines education and training under one roof.

Refrigeration and air conditioning technology, which also includes pump-based heating systems, is a growing sector with an urgent need for qualified skilled workers. The modern academy offers flexible training for every level at two locations. The college has a presence in Maintal, in the state of Hesse, and in Niedersachswerfen, in the state of Thuringia. These two institutes train apprentice refrigeration and air conditioning technicians as well as master tradesmen and engineers in the same field. Trainees and students choose from a wide range of courses depending on their professional goals. Technicians are more likely to acquire theoretical background knowledge e.g. for sales. The equipment was supplied by Lucas-Nülle.
"We specifically implemented a modular, adjustable solution," says Manfred Seikel, managing director and head of the technical college. “The feedback received from those who have participated in the first pilot run so far shows that we made the right decision.”
