Air brake system (tractor and trailer)

In contrast to the hydraulic braking system in light motor vehicles, where „only“ the foot force is increased, the force applied by a vehicle driver is not sufficient to brake a medium-weight or heavy motor vehicle or combination. With an air brake system, the entire actuating force can be applied by the brake system. The vehicle driver can control the braking finely via the brake pedal and the downstream components.

The brake system, like the steering, is a decisive factor for vehicle safety and for the vehicle environment in terms of safety. The legal requirements for the design and function of the air brake system are strict and compliance with them is verified by regular inspections. The training system enables the trainee to operate a complete air brake system and learns which components are connected to each other in which way, how they work together and what is important during an inspection.

The entire system is delivered pre-assembled, i.e. all modules have already been screwed into the assembled tables. On site, only the normal commissioning has to take place. Please note that the total weight of 300kg.
