Bedarfsgeregelte Intank-Kraftstoffpumpe
The module unit "Demand-controlled fuel pump" is part of the training system "Modular engine management". Through the symbiosis of real components and digitally created graphics, the maximum possible knowledge transfer of the individual module is fully exploited. On the one hand, the trainee gets to know the real look and feel of the component, and on the other hand, he can link this real look directly to the corresponding circuit symbol, which significantly supports him in reading and understanding circuit diagrams. Depending on the module, there is also a 3D drawing next to the circuit symbol that shows the respective component in detail. Since the 4mm safety sockets of the module have the same colour coding as the control unit, on the one hand the basic function of the respective connection is self-explanatory, and on the other hand the risk of incorrect wiring is minimised. In the event of incorrect wiring, all sensor and actuator modules have an inherent safety circuit that protects them against short circuits.
