Smooth starter industrial type for 3-phase asynchronous machines up to 1kW

The smooth starter is a semiconductor motor controller for three-phase asynchronous motors. It is used for smooth starting without start or run up jerking and thus relieves the motor and neighbouring system components as well as the mains feed. Up until now smooth starting involved using star-delta starters which however entailed current and torque spikes at the moment of switchover.
