These assembly exercises focus on mechanical skills. All exercises are of an extremely practical nature. All parts, except for consumables (wires) can be reused.
The following exercises are performed in this course:
- Familiarization with equipment and various wiring techniques such as flat wiring, channel wiring and chamber wiring.
- Configuration and commissioning of circuits incorporating these technologies.
- Contactor control with circuit-breaker
- Contactor control with inching mode
- Contactor control with self-holding
- Contactor control with two operating locations
- Reversing circuit with contactors
- Forced sequential connections with main current circuit
- Interlocking of a contactor control
- Contactor controls with a timing relay
- Contactor circuits for motors with 2 speeds and 2 separate windings
- Dahlander circuit with contactors
- Star-delta circuit with contactors
- Starter circuit for a slip-ring motor
